Announcement for Consultancy Services

 Title: Creative Non-fiction Writing Workshop

Scope of the assignment:

Bhutan Centre for Media and Democracy is conducting a four day Creative Non-Fiction Writing workshop in July. Creative non-fiction writing is widely accepted as the fourth genre in literature.

This course is aimed at helping aspiring writers to put their thoughts, interests and experiences into words and to translate them into coherent articles and stories. The theme for this non-fiction writing workshop is ‘Traditional Values in modern Bhutan’.

Qualification & Experience:

Advanced University Degree (Masters Degree and above) with relevant experience in teaching non-fiction writing. Preference will be given to those with prior experience in conducting such workshops. The consultant should have good communication skills – both written and spoken English

Timeframe & Duty Station:

The consultant’s input will be required for a total of 4 days beginning from July 19th to 22 July 2011. Duty station of the consultant will be Thimphu, Bhutan.
